Flight Planner of FSX
Among many others, the Flight Planner is one of major improvement achieved by FSX for those who would like to fly the transport airliners. Now you will be able to create SID/STAR easily when you prepare your flight plan by using the FSX Flight Planner. It is just a matter of a few clicks to create SID/STAR, because you can put unnamed waypoint by a mouse click anywhere on the map of flight planner.

However, "Find Route" of FSX Flight Planner is not all mighty!
The flight plan of your flight can be automatically generated by one click on "Find Route" button on the FSX flight planner. However, it can never be similar to what is being used in real life, because it is based only on the generic "Rules of Air".

In real life, the flight plan has to be prepared taking into consideration not only the generic "Rules of Air", but also the Local Air Regulation promulgated by the currently published Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC), and the rules stipulated in the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).

In order to make your flight as real as it gets, we have prepared 819 flight plans in total after having cross-checked the matter with the local Air Regulations published on official documents, that were valid as of July, 2008.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE OUTSIDE IS WHAT REAL PILOT WILL SEE IN REAL FLIGHT.
